After a career of building successful teams in the military, public sector and in private industry, I now focus my time, energy, and passion to help leaders and teams unleash their potential and wisdom. Applying executive coaching, team and Leader development, I design and deliver leader-centered solutions for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies as well as non-profits and start-ups.
Leaders trust me to coach, advise and guide them in aligning and transforming their teams and advancing the capabilities of their people. My coaching passion is supporting leaders to more quickly achieve success as they transition into new or changing roles and situations. As a master instructor, facilitator and university adjunct faculty, I have developed and delivered hundreds of courses, workshops, and presentations on leadership, management, emotional intelligence, team-building, culture, and change.
Following graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy and a decorated career as a Naval Officer, I earned an MBA from Penn State, then held several senior leadership roles in HR and talent development within the public and private sectors. To sharpen my focus, I completed postgraduate studies on leadership, change and adult development at Harvard, earned Graduate Certifications in Leadership Coaching and Organizational Development at Georgetown University, and a Professional Coach Certification (PCC) from the International Coach Federation.
To support my client's diverse needs, I apply my expertise and certifications in Emotional Intelligence, DiSC, Conflict Styles, MBTI, 360s, Hogan Talent Suite and other assessments. When not helping leaders build their success, I find great joy playing guitar in an award-winning acoustic duo, competing in marathons and triathlons, sailing, and hiking.
